For new authors
If you are searching how to write a book, how to organize a novel by chapters, or which writing software to use, Escritor gives you a practical structure without forcing you to learn book design first.
Tutorial for authors and self-publishers
Escritor is a progressive web app for long-form writing: organize a manuscript by chapters, write in Markdown, preview HTML, and export text, images, ePub or PDF.
A long manuscript needs structure: chapters, headings, notes, figures, exports and a clear way to recover the material. A standard document can be enough to start, but it becomes awkward when you need chapter organization, ePub output or a book-like PDF.
If you are searching how to write a book, how to organize a novel by chapters, or which writing software to use, Escritor gives you a practical structure without forcing you to learn book design first.
If you already write in Markdown, plain text, Word or scattered notes, the goal is a cleaner workflow: separate chapters, preview, and useful exports for review or publishing.
Markdown keeps formatting out of the manuscript. Instead of fighting invisible styles, you write simple marks that can later become HTML, ePub or PDF.
# Chapter title
## A section
This is a normal paragraph.
This is another paragraph. Do not use tabs to fake first-line indentation.
**Bold**, *italic* and lists:
- main idea
- another idea
First-line indentation and paragraph spacing belong in the export settings. Web and HTML usually use space between paragraphs; traditional print-like PDFs can use first-line indentation and remove that space.
Escritor is not designed to trap your material. You can export the manuscript as text and figures, and also produce reader-friendly review formats.
Useful for reviewing book appearance, typography, margins, headers, footers, notes and paragraph style.
Useful for digital reading and tests in book-reading applications.
Useful for backup, data exit and full recovery of chapters.
Useful when your book includes figures, photos, diagrams or illustrations you need to preserve.
You can first enter a demo with a test account. If you want a private workspace, subscribe for one month and cancel whenever you decide.
No card is required for the demo. A subscription begins only when you decide to pay for your first month.
After the trial, writing access requires an active subscription. Data export remains available so you can recover your material.
Escritor prepares and exports your manuscript. Publishing through stores, printers or external platforms remains the author’s decision.
Enter the demo, create a book, add chapters and see how it works. No card and no automatic charge.
